THE PROCESS EXPLAINED

‘Telling the Tales of a Lifetime’
As a celebrant I understand how difficult it can be to lose someone close.
My aim as a celebrant is to offer a personal and professional service and to guide you through the process so it doesn’t feel quite so daunting and unfamiliar.
Each service I prepare will be unique and tapered to the person you are remembering.
I can help you pick the music (entrance, reflection and exit), perhaps poetry or a reading or a prayer, if appropriate. I could deliver the entire service if that is your preference, however I would facilitate the involvement of family and friends within the service if so desired. At the end of the day it is a service for your loved one that should be personal to them and the life they lived.
Please feel free to contact me direct, however it is likely that I will be contacted by the funeral director.
At the time of that contact they will confirm some basic details to me. From here I will then go on to contact you to arrange a meeting. I would usually attend at your home or the home of your loved one. However please feel free to choose an alternative meeting place if not convenient, this could be a coffee shop or other place where you would feel comfortable. Meeting face to face is preferable to ensure all details are correct, however, other arrangements can be made if this is not doable.
